    JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR 

    LOCATION: SAVANNAH, GA

    JOB TYPE: FULL TIME 

    REPORT TO: REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCES REP 

    ABOUT THE POSITION: 

    The HR Administrator will act as the first point of contact to employees and external partners for all HR related queries. As a priority, the HR administrator will handle most of the employee documentation, including recruitment paperwork and starter packs. The HR Administrator carries out responsibilities in some or all the following functional areas: HRIS, employee relations, safety, training and development, front office admin and time and attendance. A top HR Administrator should be approachable, fair, and have good multitasking abilities. 

    WHAT YOU WILL DO  

    • Performs front office administrative duties, administrative work, including scheduling, maintaining files and sorting mail for the Human Resources department. 
    • Assists with documentation concerning grievances, terminations, absences, incidents, and performance reports. 
    • Supports the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. 
    • Being first point of contact on any HR related questions. 
    • Process employee transaction including by limited to new hires, change of status, training and development, performance, and terminations. 
    • Assists with recruiting, hiring, or training new employees. 
    • Coordinate safety programs for compliance, training sessions and employee engagement events. 
    • Maintains and update time and attendance records. 
    • Ensures quality service by following organization standards. 
    • Support benefit open enrollment and benefit inquiries. 
    • Assists payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules). Upholds employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED  

    •  Education: Associates Degree diploma or equivalent 
    • Experience 2-4 years: Some previous work-related experience 
    • Preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now 
    • Must have warehouse environment experience. 
    • Able to resolve conflicts with excellent problem-solving skills 
    • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines 
    • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS office and related business communication tools 
    • Fantastic organization and time management skills 
    • Meticulous attention to detail 
    • Be able to work with little to no supervision on-site
