INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW: As a summer intern at Cboe, you will have the unique opportunity to learn about the financial industry through various educational offerings as well as direct work experience through one of our many departments including Business Development, Options, Market Policy, Corporate Communications, Internal Audit, Legal, Regulatory and much more. This is a twelve-week program designed to engage you in day-to-day activities and projects contributing towards our team and corporate goals scheduled to begin in the latter part of May and last through mid-August. You will also have the opportunity to apply what you have learned in the educational offerings to actual business situations. INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will either be a graduate or undergraduate student with an outstanding record of academic achievement and an interest in the financial markets, Accounting major preferred. In addition, you should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. This candidate will have a high level of efficiency, accuracy and responsibility with the ability to manage multiple assignments & priorities, work well on a team, excellent and demonstrated organizational and time management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Research key investor-related issues in the financial services sector. ? Track and analyze key performance statistics. ? Prepare earnings-related materials, including press release, script and slide deck. ? Review presentations and other Investor Relations messaging, including website, fact sheet, slide etc. as needed ? Clean and compare accounting data. ? Monitoring analyst reports and estimates of financial performance. ? Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets & income statements. ? Assist with the preparation of account reconciliations & analyses. ? Assist with providing support for the external & internal audit inquiries. ?
