As a technical intern on our team, you will be part of an agile team building the latest control system solutions for our traffic management products. You will work with the team to build automation to build customer deployments using DevOps practices. You will also build diagnostic metrics and analysis solutions to monitor system status and test results reporting used to inform the team of the quality of our products. As a member on one of our agile teams, you will participate project planning, sprint scheduling and demo your progress on a regular basis to the larger organization. What you will do: Work across the organization to identify product/system requirements Work on a scrum team to design and build the product and deployment solutions Design programmability interfaces based on use cases and workflows. Creating and integrating the tools necessary to improve test automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting Build Operational reports of performance statistics of the product What you know: Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#/C++, Python or JavaScript. Knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL) Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems including CLI. Strong analytic/troubleshooting skills Qualifications: A current student enrolled in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Approaching their Junior year or beyond at the time of internship (exceptional Sophomore or Freshmen may be considered) Available for a 10-12 week internship between June and September 2018 Internships are an excellent way to get to know F5.
