Position Description
This role is an internal contributor to the wound components team. The team’s focus is the design and development of Motors, Resolvers, LVDTs and RVDTs for use in the aerospace and defense markets.
Level 2 Engineers are responsible for contributing to the design and development of Motors, Resolvers, RVDTs, and LVDTs for use in the aerospace and defense markets. This position will gain an extensive understanding of the electromagnetic behavior and optimization of these devices, an educational background in these devices is a benefit. Taking cues from more senior team members, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of position sensors and motors for both customer funded projects and internal projects. This work includes 3D modeling, drawing creation, tolerance stack-ups, structural analysis, electro-magnetic analysis, and report and presentation creation.
