New Jersey Resources is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst II to perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or threats. Major Responsibilities bull Monitor organizationrsquos networks for security breaches and ensure compliance to company security policies bull Responsible for security tool configuration, daily maintenance and monitoring of security tools, updating of antivirmalware platform, detection and response to security alerts and other information security measures bull Responsible for ensuring Identify Access Management (IAM) procedures and policies are implemented and adhered to bull Provide system-level logs and details related to potential security investigations bull Conduct regular assessments across systems to look for vulnerabilities before they can be exploited bull Ensure users understand and adhere to necessary procedures to maintain security bull Assist in the development and periodic review of security procedures bull Ensures systems and software configurations comply with information security requirements, policies and standards bull Assist and support in the implementation of information security-related projects bull Assist in promoting security awareness bull Produce regular KPI and status reports bull Interface with multiple vendors and contractors as required bull Participate in risk assessment as required bull Identify and prioritize security patches and report on compliance bull Detect, identify, classify security incidents maintain security documentation bull Work closely with the security architect for technical guidance and assistance with security operations Position Specifications bull Bachelorrsquos degree in cyber securityrelated field plus minimum of two years of experience with the configuration and monitoring of information security platforms such as security information event management (SIEM), intrusion detectionprevention (IDSIPS), anti-malware, encryption, vulnerability testing, firewalls, web proxies, patch management, loggingauditing, identity access management systems, etc. or equivalent work experience bull ISC2 CISSP Certificate preferred bull Working knowledge of system security design process, risk management, contingency planning, change management, auditing, and security testing bull Positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude bull Demonstrated interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communications ability to work effectively with others bull Occasional travel for training, conferences, and disaster recovery or offsite equipment support bull On call support 247 with 30 minute response as needed bull Extended hours and alternate schedules, as needed bull Extended duration of computer terminal usage We are an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
