    JOB OPPORTUNITY - Customer Service / Roadside Assistance Agent - Remote  

    Job Description Newegg is looking for a Full-Time Customer Service / Roadside Assistance Agent Position Summary: Answer inbound calls from stranded motorists and dispatch roadside assistance, coming to the rescue and securing services including towing, lockout, tire changes, fuel delivery, electric vehicle charging, and more.

    Job Qualifications: • HS Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience • 6 months of Customer Service • Ability to type 25wpm and comfortable with a desktop computer system. • Schedule - Must be available to work various shifts / AM or PM – day/evening shifts

    Essential Job Functions: • Answers inbound residential customer calls, covering a full range of services, including obtaining all information necessary for the resolution of transactions. • Calls must be handled in a timely and professional manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Must achieve all sales standards set for the department by following the established departmental policies and procedures. • Demonstrate full understanding of current marketing campaigns and offerings and has the ability to communicate them clearly to customers at every sales opportunity. • Able to display empathy during a difficult situation where customers are stranded.

    • 4 GB of RAM minimum
    • 8 GB of RAM or higher recommended

    • One monitor is minimum - but two monitors is nice to have

    Network Connection & Speed

    • Recommended: 10 mbps download/minimum 3 mbps upload

    Network Physical Connection

    • Equipment must have a wired connection - (Cannot be wireless)

    Required headset with microphone

    • Suggestions: Plantronics (Model 79730-01), Logitech USB H570e, Jabra UC VOICE 150

    Additional Notes on Operating System: Dual Boot machines and other operating systems (ie. Chrome OS, Linux, Android,etc) not listed above are prohibited.

    USB Flash Drive Requirements

    • To create the Platform Flash Drive you will need to obtain a USB 3.0 Flash Drive with 8 -32GB of storage (the Builder will not detect flash drives outside this range).

    Note: You can upgrade your current USB Flash Drive to this version without the need to buy a new one. Be careful when shopping for flash drives online as there are many counterfeit flash drives on the market that may cause the creation process of your ASD to fail.
