OPIS IS HIRING A HOUSEKEEPING AIDE AT OPIS RULEME CENTER IN EUSTIS, FL TO WORK OUR 8AM-4PM SHIFT. WE ARE SEEKING HOUSEKEEPING AIDES WHO ARE ABLE TO BE FLEXIBLE WITH THEIR SCHEDULE.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE HOUSEKEEPING AIDE ROLE IS SOMEONE WHO IS A CARING INDIVIDUAL THAT IS  DEDICATED TO MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THEIR CUSTOMERS, AND WHO HAVE A DESIRE TO LEARN AND EXPAND PROFESSIONALLY IN A SUPPORTIVE, COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT. THE HOUSEKEEPING AIDE SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE WORKING IN A PHYSICALLY DEMANDING ROLE AND IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT.   

THE HOUSEKEEPING AIDE’S SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES WITH OPIS INCLUDE:

• Follows specific cleaning and service instructions as outlined by the Director of Environmental Services
• Follows cleaning procedures in a safe manner
• Completes all assignments scheduled in each area
• Insures that all areas assigned are sanitary and odor free
• Checks stock and notifies Supervisor of supply needs
• Maintains equipment in good clean condition and returns it to proper location after use
• Assists with room changes, as needed

THE HOUSEKEEPING AIDE’S EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS ARE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous housekeeping experience
• Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred
