OPIS SENIOR SERVICES GROUP IS HIRING A NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR (NHA) AT OPIS INDIAN RIVER CENTER IN WEST MELBOURNE, FL.  

THE INDIVIDUAL IDEAL FOR THE NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR ROLE IS SOMEONE COMMITTED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY CARE.  THE NHA SHOULD HAVE A POSITIVE, CULTURE-DRIVEN ATTITUDE AND PASSION FOR GERIATRIC CARE. THE NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR’S SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES WITH OPIS INCLUDE:

• Administers, directs, and coordinates all activities of the center to assure that the highest degree of quality of care is consistently provided to the customers.

• Interprets personnel practices within policy guidelines and recommends changes as necessary

• Promotes favorable public relations and represents the center in community as required

• Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers, relatives, and team members

• Reviews and evaluates the work performance of assigned personnel

• Oversees financial health of the center

THE NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR’S EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS ARE:

• Active Florida NHA license
• Proven history of leadership and focus on retaining and developing staff
• 5 years’ experience as an NHA in a LTC/SNF setting
• Positive attitude and willingness to continually improve and grow as a leader.
