WE'RE HIRING FOR FULL-TIME LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES FOR FULL TIME SHIFTS AT OUR LONGWOOD, FL LOCATION.

Opis Senior Services Group is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our 120-bed Island Lake Center in Longwood, FL. The job opening is for the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7pm-7am full time shift.

The Licensed Practical Nurse position is a key hands-on position that greatly improves the quality of care our customers receive. To ensure continuity of care, team members must arrive and punch in 15 minutes before their shift and stay 15 minutes after. This LPN job offers a competitive shift differential!

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Taking an active role in direct customer care
• Administering medication and/or treatment and documentation of same to customers
• Assisting in developing and implementing individual nursing care plans for each customer, as well as participating in care plan meetings
• Providing for emotional and physical comfort and safety of customers
• Enhancing education by attending all mandated in-service programs

 LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Florida LPN license
• Up-to-date physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles
• 6+ months previous skilled nursing or long term care experience preferred
• CPR certification
