    JOB DESCRIPTION:  Pathstone is seeking a motivated associate to join our close-knit team in Englewood, NJ.  Pathstone provides an exciting and engaging environment with constantly evolving responsibilities and priorities - no job is too big or small.     QUALIFICATIONS:     

    ·          Undergraduate degree required

    ·          At least 1 year of relevant experience; preferably with an investment management firm, broker/dealer, or Registered Investment Advisor (RIA)

    ·          Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written skills

    ·          Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills

    ·          Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, which is essential to a role that juggles a variety of functions and projects

    ·          Self-starter with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving work environment

    ·          Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, Office 365, etc.)

    ·          Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and alternative investments preferred

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    ·          Investigate and respond to routine-to-complex inquires within defined service level commitments

    ·          Research and resolve routine integration issues leveraging internal support resources and escalate to management as appropriate

    ·          Understand and adhere to outlined company policies and procedures to ensure work is completed within firm standards

    ·          Learn to navigate and gain proficiency with both external software systems and internal proprietary systems to retrieve relevant information for oversight

    ·          Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely responses and resolutions to inquiries

    ·          Determine appropriate course of action for incoming investment correspondence

    ·          Notify client teams of actionable items and save associated documents on the internal network

    ·          Act as liaison between outside investment firms, our reporting partner, and our client teams.

    ·          Handle inquiries from client teams related to the troubleshooting and review of complex account and data discrepancies

    ·          Provide oversight and guidance on various internal processes and with regard to reporting corrections

    ·          Monitor daily workflow with manager support to ensure timely delegation, completion, and accuracy of work performed by team.

    ·          Utilize strong investigative skills to work independently while keeping supervisor apprised of ongoing projects and progress

    ·          Partner with client teams to map out project plans and see them through to completion

    ·          Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other departments on projects and/or initiatives designed to streamline processes

    ·          Identify potential problems and work to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency

    ·          Help document, review, and update training manuals

    ·          Educate and train advisors on the reporting system and how to effectively leverage their knowledge in their current role.
