JOB SUMMARY The Benefits Coordinator position provides telephonic and email support to employees with regards to enrollments and benefit related inquiries. Responsibilities: Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit questions Assist employees in accessing and navigating benefits enrollment system Assist with life event changes, such as newly eligible employees, marriages, births and advise on dependent verification process Escalate non-routine inquiries and issues to Benefits Specialist and/or Benefits Manager Monitor employee inquiry trends and proactively notify Benefits Specialist of any potential issues Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, the HR Team and benefit vendors Correspond with benefit carriers to validate benefit coverage May conduct benefits orientations as needed Involved in the open enrollment preparations Assist with special projects as needed Other duties and/or daily tasks as assigned AS degree; BS preferred. 2+ years HR or benefits experience preferred Basic working knowledge of benefits ERISA laws and regulations Commitment to excellence and high standards Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
