Due to our continued growth, we are actively seeking part-time WRITING TUTORS to join our team.  This is a remote based position but preference will be given to those individuals available onsite in our New Hope, PA office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Part-time online writing tutor- approximately 10-15 hours per week to start.  Responsibilities include tutoring students who request assistance with written assignments, review and assist with revising essays, and meet live on a video platform (i.e. Zoom) with online writing students.

HOURLY RATE: $20

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·        Bachelor's Degree

·        Excellent communication skills

·        Love of teaching writing

·        Online teaching and/or tutoring experience

·        Ability to work independently

·        Reliable computer & Wi-Fi & quiet location

PREFERRED:

·        MA or Ph.D.

·        College or University Writing Center tutoring experience

·        Community College tutoring or teaching experience

·        Specialty in one or more of the following areas: College application essays, Graduate school personal statements, Resumes/cover letters, Professional writing
