POSITION: SECURITY RESEARCH INTERN

LOCATION: REMOTE WITHIN UNITED STATES

RESPONSIBILITIES/WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Responsible for tier 1 security posture, Incident Detection and Reporting
• Performs historical analysis of logs associated with security events
• Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity technologies/security operations to include perform research and analysis of tools and procedures
• Partner with application teams to provide application security oversight and guidance
• Participate in documenting and publishing security related workflows and procedures to mitigate vulnerabilities

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/YOUR BACKGROUND

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Demonstrated aptitude for technology and an interest in pursuing a career in information technology and information security/cybersecurity
• Experience with Windows/Linux/Databases/Applications/Web Servers, Web-App security and other relevant security technology experience
• Understanding of system vulnerabilities and exploitation
