The Security Architect develops, manages, and communicates the technical security architecture for enterprise solutions and applications, specifically focusing on product security solutions and solutions architecture with a focus on security. The incumbent of this role will provide leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks for the enterprise’s application security architecture. This role will be responsible for creating reusable standards and guidelines (reference architectures) for evolving the technical architecture of the enterprise and integrating acquisitions. In this position you will review application security requirements, application architectures, data flow, threat models to support secure-by-design systems and solutions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and execute Security Architecture review and assessment of our products and applications
• Perform application security review, application security assessments and threat modeling of key core functions of the applications
• Experience in the Secure Development Lifecycle and Shift Left with a Security by Design methodology
• Collaborate closely with other parts of the security team and product teams to design defense-in-depth controls that limit attackers' ability and improve our security postures.
• Monitor and analyze emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits relevant to our infrastructure and products.
• Acts as the primary liaison between the security and product development teams, and product architects.
• Experience applying security engineering standard methodologies that align with security and privacy compliance requirements
• Analyzes and coordinates secure requirements and design of new & existing applications.
• Conducts security assessments and security consulting services.
• Experience in Security domains such as Identity & Access Management, Endpoint Security, Application Security, DevSecOps, Network Security, Cryptography/Encryption/PKI.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience with 4+ years as security architect, solution architect in assessing security posture of the application and being a member of an enterprise or solutions architecture team.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding in various disciplines: web application security, mobile app security, network security, operating system internals and hardening, applied cryptography, cloud computing. You're expected to be an expert in at least one of these areas.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent debugging / troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant majors.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 to $230,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
