Job Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management - The role requires strong cross-functional leadership. This role requires leadership with and without direct reporting authority, which is an advanced leadership skill. The ability to establish the vision necessary to achieve product alignment with broader engineering and cross-functional PM team, revenue goals, effectively communicate the vision and strategy to others and then lead a team of product managers and product specialists to achieve the vision is a requirement of the position. Experience managing people, both directly and indirectly is required.
• Product and Technical Expertise - The VP has direct reporting responsibility for product management. * Experience working with existing customers to understand customer requirements and work with engineering team to deliver customer value and * The ability to identify customer requirements for which new routes to revenue can be developed and delivered. * Experience in one of the following areas is highly desirable: SASE, SSE, ZTNA, Segmentation.
• Engineering Collaboration - Close collaboration with engineering, UX, and QA is an integral part of the job. This includes organization and maintenance of the roadmap plan and active prioritization of the delivery pipeline. The VP must be able to "translate" from engineering and product requirements into a language that executive leaders of the business can understand and help facilitate the business decision making process (including strategic direction and budgetary funding).
• Go-to-market Collaboration - Requires very strong collaboration with the go-to-market teams in the full business lifecycle * Ownership of the pricing and packaging based on market and value maximization * Communicating business vision and product roadmaps for customers and internal audiences * Enabling go-to-market teams with the necessary collateral and messaging and product market fit * Work with the sales and partner ecosystem to deliver the consistent message and updates to the field organization.
• Product-Market fit expertise - Relies on business analytics to be able to use data in order to improve business decision making and present to the management. * Ongoing analysis of total addressable market and serviceable obtainable market * Ability to interpret the state or market, competitive landscape and position the platform uniquely compared to rest of the market players * Work with Press and Media Analysts to maintain and grow the understanding of the product line.
• Presentation Skills - Extremely strong presentation skills are required. Must be able to span the full range from detailed product specification for the technical audience to CXO-level strategy. The VP/GM must have strong skills for communicating the strategy and vision to both internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of experience in the product leadership role with experience in managing a team of product managers and field specialists.
• Prior experience in scaling business from hundreds of millions to billions of dollars.
• Experience with security and networking technologies such as Proxies, Firewalls, SD-WAN, VPNs etc. is preferred.
• Expert in cloud networking and security with hands on experience in at least one of the following hyperscaler platforms: AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) – must be able to communicate at a business and technical level with internal teams, customers, partners, and executives.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $250,000 to $300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
