Job Description

As a Software Engineer Intern for Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) product in the Emerging Technology group: 

WHAT YOU LOVE:

• Great power and great responsibility - Developing highly performant and distributed enterprise-scale services using C programming. DIY memory management :) 
• Deep diving into the intricacies of TCP/IP protocol stack, HTTP, DNS, traffic analysis, and other related protocols to develop high speed, low latency distributed systems at a tremendous scale
• All things Linux - the kernel, threading, bash and file system, etc.
• SQL and NoSQL databases and querying large data sets, be it debugging or deriving insights
• Software aesthetics - data structures and design patterns
• Working with a stellar team that loves your spirit of learning and contribution

Qualifications

• Working your way towards completing your Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• Data structure and networking fundamentals
• Experience with C or C++ programming
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good team player with the right attitude
