    Job Description

    The Sales Enablement team at Zscaler is empowering sales professionals through strategy, resources, and training to succeed more than they ever have in their careers!  

    The Technical Sales Enablement Engineer will work within their team to ensure the Sales Engineering team have all of the knowledge, tools, templates, and information to be as successful as possible.  They will be a critical part of the Sales Enablement Team and be able to lead others in the organization to implement change, as well as measure the positive results of those changes.  They should be a specialist in technical sales skills, such as Technical Champion Building, Value Based Demonstrations, Objection Handling as well as Proof of Value processes.  

    This person needs a strong emotional quotient as well as a strong IQ and should be able to work with many different people with differing priorities. They will also be able to work in a rapidly changing environment and have a strong bias towards action.   

    RESPONSIBILITIES:   

    Be the Sales Strategy Enablement Subject Matter Expert technical sales skills.  Actively attend customer meetings to validate theories and understand issues. 

    Build and own Sales Strategy Enablement Technical Sales Training & Education programs such as;  

    • Technical Discovery  
    • Running Effective Architecture Workshops  
    •  Building Technical Champions  
    •  Questioning Skills  
    • Analyzing Business Pain  
    • Sales Process
    • Organize technical and product training events.  
    • Support others in the team with their duties.  
    • Run ad-hoc training and coaching sessions   
    • Take an active role in building a strong social media presence.  
    • Engage in SKO, Halftime and other sales enablement activities and events.

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Passion for the Cloud and Digital Transformation market 
    • Passion for messaging, presenting, taking the complex, and making it simple.  
    • Naturally curious with the attention span to also be a finisher.  
    • Self-starter with a high degree of follow through, ability to own and manage projects through to completion while working in a team.  
    • Ability to lead others and ensure a positive working environment.  
    • Attention to detail.  
    • Demonstrable experience as a Sales Engineer in a Cloud Service / SaaS company.  
    • Experience of working in a Sales led organization.
