  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Intern will understand what Wireless certification bodies are: 3GPP, PTCRB, 3GPP2, CTIA, GCF, CCF. To learn new wireless technologies like 5G, CA, MIMO, etc. Understand Certification schemes and processes like GCF/PTCRB and Operator certification scheme and process including North America/Europe operators. Testing house Internship is the best way to understand what wireless testing field is and you can learn from experienced/professional engineers.

    • Execute 4G/5G Protocol and RF testing on the different TPs as below
    • Keysight 5G RCT & PCT TPs, Anritsu 7873LA, R&S 8980, R&S PQA, R&S CMW 500, Keysight Anite 9000, etc
    • Collect data from TPs 
    • Enter information to Labsure (SGS database) 
    • Support Engineers on paperwork 
    • Assist software engineer & testing engineer to develop automation programming, testing documentation, and support analysis for below R&S TPs
    • IMS Roaming
    • CDMA-Less-Type3
    • CDMA-Less Multi-Mode Data Retry
    • VzW hVoLTE TP
    • Compliance Test Plan - IMS VoIP Test Plan
    • Compliance Test Plan - LTE - Rich Communication Services Devices 
    • E911 for LTE Only or LTE Multi-mode VoLTE Capable Devices
    • Assist and Write the Automation design documentation and test plans  
    • Assist in preparation of Automation software and system design
    • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
