Job Description

Our client, a diversified holding company primarily engaged in the renewable fuels and petroleum refining and marketing business as well as in the nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing business is looking to hire potential contract inspectors. The work location is Coffeeville, Kansas.

The facility is currently looking to add inspectors to work on multiple special projects. The API Inspectors will perform 570 piping inspections, 510 internal/external vessel inspections, CUI, CUF, damage mechanisms, risk-based inspections, injection/mix point/inspections, dead leg inspections and daily based business inspections.

Qualifications

• Possess the related API certification (510/570)
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Inspector.
• APIs with knowledge of PCMS would be a plus.
• Ability to read and redline P&IDs and Isometric drawings and field sketching of new isometric drawings for some projects.
• Must have knowledge of inspection methods and be able to apply this knowledge as it pertains to the company.
• Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel and be able to write detailed inspection reports.
• Must be well rounded, organized, extremely detailed on reporting and a self-starter.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication
• Inspectors must be able to climb, walk some long distances, enter and exit confined spaces, work individually and as a team.
