About the Position: This is a permanent position with Headquarters, CECOM, G-8 Resource Management at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead and manage a number of CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CE LCMC) wide programs.
Serve as the Deputy Director of Resource Management (G8) CECOM headquarters (HQs) focal point for a wide range of resource management programs (Budget, Accounting, and Cost/Manpower) and functions, which span across multiple divisions.
Perform the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
Visit higher headquarters, or other major subordinate commands, CE LCMC elements and participating organizations to assess, advise, evaluate and assist in resource management matters.
Initiate policy and procedural changes correcting required deficiencies in assigned operations.
Develop the financial management annexes for contingency plans and provide for execution of financial plans under emergency conditions.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) reviewing Program Objective Memorandum (POM) packages for completeness across a large organization; (2) conducting comprehensive analytical studies of organizations or significant segments of major management functions to improve resource management, organizational structure and/or staffing levels; and (3) leading Command-level special projects to direct financial and/or manpower resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13). The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is the Army’s materiel integrator for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness.
