Human Resources Specialist (Performance Management)
JOB SUMMARY
About the Position: Serve as the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Project Lead within the G1 Performance Management and Operation Division and works closely with the Director of the DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Performance Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). This is a permanent position. This position is subject to the NH-03 Non-Supervisory Senior Professional or Team Lead Control Point of the CECOM Control Point Policy.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Serve as a recognized senior advisor to all CECOM world-wide on the full gamut of performance management.
Apply expertise of Command organizational structure, mission objectives, functions, procedures and policies to advise in management of civilian personnel management program.
Oversee the maintenance of CECOMs Pay Pools to provide thorough guidance and advice on processes and procedures to Commanding General, Deputy to the Command General, senior leadership, Pay Pool panel members, and Pay Pool Administrators.
Practical expert in developing and executing personnel and workforce management and development program policy and processes.
As advisor to CECOM Army personnel management coordinate efforts and assure the maximum effectiveness of the policies, basic techniques, processes, and procedures established within the Defense Department for civilian personnel management.
Responsible for the management of Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) and Defense Performance Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP) automated information systems to include CAS2Net and DPMAP My Performance Tool.
Develop, modify and facilitate varied training courses for various stakeholders on AcqDemo and Defense Performance Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP) personnel pay-for-performance systems and staffing initiatives.
