Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service which includes work that involved (1) Experience making complex and detailed technical illustrations, schematics, wiring diagrams, exploded and cutaway views of equipment in the proper sequence of assembly or disassembly using computer-aided design (CAD), ISO Draw and drafting software; (2) Experience estimating time and cost involved in the preparation of item illustration; and (3) Experience taking ownership of artistic quality and accuracy of the illustration to convey factual concepts. (requested but optional, if not available provide a 2nd isometric drawing) 2) A 3D animation, rendering, or visualization of an object (ideally a piece of hardware or equipment) that you created from a 3D model. All samples must be viewable in IADS (see https://iads.redstone.army.mil/ for information about IADS, a government-owned free software). Graphic formats supported by IADS are CGM, SVG, JPG, BMP, G4, TIFF, GIF, PNG, and PIC 4.0. Supported video formats are AVI, WMV, and MPG. Hiring official will facilitiate tehcnical support to confirm submitted samples are IADS-viewable.
