    Job Description

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT and software development lab.
    • Ensure all lab systems, networks, and tools are functioning correctly.
    • Maintain physical and cybersecurity measures, including compliance with relevant policies (e.g., SCIF requirements, DISA STIGs).
    • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of lab infrastructure and equipment.
    • Manage and track lab inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and consumables.
    • Facilitate system testing, integration, and debugging in collaboration with developers and program teams.
    • Support demonstrations, training, and program-specific testing within the lab environment.
    • Manage resources to support multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
    • Implement and oversee configuration management practices for lab environments.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, updates, and changes.
    • Support software and system integration testing, ensuring environments are aligned with program requirements.
    • Collaborate with development teams to configure and optimize environments for CI/CD pipelines.
    • Develop and implement strategies to centralize or modernize lab infrastructure, such as transitioning to cloud or hybrid environments.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. AND Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Assisting in the development of IT requirements for software, firmware or hardware; 2) Conducting analyses of processes, both within designs and in functional areas to acquire full knowledge of particular aspects of an operation; 3) Providing information technology assistance to customers; 4) Providing end to end solution delivery for information technology related products; AND 5) Performing systems/network administration across Software systems.
