Job Description

• Monitor the ongoing operation of a complex network environment with a large number of users in an installation/command ensures corrective action to restore operation actions and operational service.
• Prepare and proposes plans, concepts, and doctrine to ensure continuity in transition of new and existing DoD systems.
• Perform in-depth analysis of automated and manual systems related to networks and /or telecommunications to accomplish design goals.
• Serve as team leader responsible for the staff supervision of assigned, telecommunications systems, networks, projects and programs
• Provide technical planning and hardware/software engineering assistance to Information Management system user requiring communications/network support in the initial stages of project planning.
• Explore and evaluates technology concepts and advanced state of the art information/communication systems to meet future Army requirements.
• Develop guidelines for formulation of policy and life cycle control of Information management hardware/software in such areas as operation concepts; function analysis; interoperability analysis

Specialized Experience In addition to meeting the basic requirement listed above ; To qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) 1) Implementing audio visual and video distribution system (AV/VDS) experience in regulatory requirements for complete system testing and security accreditation. AND 2) Applying knowledge and experience with using new and existing methods to solve multi-disciplinary integration problems involving state-of-the-art equipment audio visual equipment, classified networks, and leveraging enterprise capabilities. AND 3) Planning long-or short term organizational objectives.
