    Job Summary

    About the Position: This is an Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist (SysAdmin), GS-2210-12, position in the Directorate of Production Engineering at Tobyhanna Army Depot.

    Job Description

    • Monitor systems in order to improve operation for numerous computer environment applications.
    • Troubleshoot hardware setup, operating system loading and configuration, application software loading and configuration, system security, programming, upgrades, and backup/archiving functions.
    • Maintain technical expertise in computer hardware, languages, and software.
    • Draft and present project management plans, scope statements, timelines, costs, risk registries, and quality measures to stakeholders.
    • Responsible for procurement, development, implementation, sustainment and security of multi-platform, multi-application engineering design, analysis, documentation, and testing and manufacturing systems.

In addition to the competencies, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service which includes: 1) Conducting information systems projects and studies which involve extensive analysis of user requirements and applicable system software and computer equipment; 2) Identifying innovative solutions to resolve complex problems and incidents; AND 3) Investigating the automation needs to maintain the security posture of the network. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service Problem Solving Project Management Technology Application Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
