About the Position: Serves as the senior technical expert, provides the overall systems engineering/computer science and technical integration for the planning, development, acquisition, and implementation cycle for Army IMA requirements in a specialty area. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. In addition to meeting either of the basic requirement education, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience in 1) Planning the integration of new network systems and network equipment; 2) Designing plans for the development of new information systems; and 3) Recommending solutions to modify standard practices related to the engineering of information technology equipment. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is the Army’s materiel integrator for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness.
