    Job Summary

    About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.

    Job Description

    • Analyzes programs and systems assigned to the team to discover potential logistics problems and adverse supply trends.
    • Evaluates the effectiveness of functional program responsibilities assigned by review of reports, discussion with supervisors, employees, and observation.
    • Review includes such matters as work accomplishment in relating to program plans and objectives, and timely execution of high priority and/or unscheduled projects or assignments.
    • Assists lower grade team members to ensure that systems are not adversely affected by any supply/or other logistics problems.
    • Provides guidance on all logistics and inventory management issues to other team members for assigned systems.
    • Interprets policy in the logistics area.
    • Develops innovative approaches to ensure logistics (maintenance and supply) support.
    • Prioritizes monetary needs for these funds within the team and within the division.

Specialized experience: 1)Plan, develop, review, and implement Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for assigned equipment during the system's logistics life cycle; 2) Evaluate guidance, regulations, logistics documents and/or policies of managed Major/End Item weapon systems; 3) Execute logistics actions in Army Information Systems, to include the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Decision Support Tool (DST) and other logistics data bases; and 4) Perform oral and/or written presentations and coordinate actions and tasks for managed systems with internal/external stakeholders and assigned Action Officers of managed weapon systems.
