    Job Summary

    About the Position: You will develop and execute manpower plans, programs, and policies in accordance with internal and Headquarters, Department of Army (HQDA), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Army Materiel Command (AMC) guidance.

    Job Description

    • Responsible for manpower management; Management analysis, review, and evaluation to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Analyze and evaluate proposed manpower and organizational changes, determine resource implications and advantages/disadvantages; Recommend proper courses of action.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance prior to implementing new structures and/or policies.
    • Respond to taskings and requirements to include manpower data calls; Develop, prepare, and submit the necessary documentation.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Attention to Detail Technical Competence Writing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
