Position may be filled as a Temporary Appointment not to exceed 1 year, if candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Temporary Appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years.

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Coaching and consulting members of a large diverse organization to implement change and improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness, 2) Conducting studies, advising and developing organizational structures, work processes and strategies within an organization impacted by constant changes in policies, programs and requirements, AND 3) Investigating, evaluating and developing business and management practices related to an organization's mission, functions, and leadership. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is the Army’s materiel integrator for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness. As a major subordinate command of the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), CECOM collaborates with Army Commands, Program Executive Offices, other AMC commands, and industry partners to provide, integrate, and sustain world-class C5ISR hardware, software, and mission command capabilities for the joint warfighter.
