    Job Summary

    This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as Program Analyst for Headquarters Communications-Electronics Command, Integrated Logistics Support Center, Associate Directorate for Supply Chain Management Office of the Director Operations Office (LFA), located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

    Job Description

    • Provides assistance and advice to supervisors and managers in the planning, scheduling, analysis, evaluation, resourcing and reporting of manpower and organizational functions to include allocation, documentation and reporting requirements.
    • Assists and advises professional, technical, and clerical personnel in all administrative management activities.
    • Provides input to LRC on long and short-range development goals/objective and administrative operations of the Directorate.
    • Consults and coordinates with appropriate local or higher headquarters staff and management personnel to ensure that all interested activities are aware ofadministrative operations of the organization in order to schedule and execute long range programs.
    • Responsible for planning, programming and executing the directorate's award program.

    Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level, which includes: 1) Consults and coordinates with appropriate local or higher headquarters staff and management personnel to ensure that all interested activities are aware of administrative operations of the organization in order to schedule and execute long range programs; 2) Conduct studies related to manpower programs submitted by Division Chiefs and consolidate them following prescribed formulas to assist in project/program developments; 3) Research and interpret regulations, policies, and instructions to assure that Division Chiefs comply with requirements. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01/GS-04). OR Education: Successfully completed a full four (4) year course of study leading to a Bachelor's Degree. (NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Experience and Education: The general experience as described in A, but less than three (3) years; and I have some education as described in B, but less than the required four (4) years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 36. Then, divide your semester hours of education by 120. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.). (NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.)
