    Job Description

    • Serves as group leader responsible for administrative supervision of 10-15 professional engineers, and full technical and administrative supervision of 10-15 Information Technology (IT) specialists.
    • Executes technical, administrative and personnel management responsibilities related to the accomplishment of the mission assigned.
    • Promotes sound position management principles and programs.
    • Provides advice and counsel to employees relative to work and administrative matters.
    • Provides advice and guidance for preparation of information system plans, systems design plans, engineering installation plans, test plans, statements of work, performance work statements.
    • Applies broad information technology knowledge and extensive experience with information systems.

AND Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Performing personnel management duties such as planning and assigning work, preparing work schedules, counseling employees, and identifying developmental and training needs of employees. Managing systems that include multiple technical areas such as systems engineering, Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, IT networking and Cybersecurity. Providing advice and expertise to Senior officials and leaders in the application of Information Technology to operational problems.
