    Job Summary

    About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Info Systems Engineering Command Mission Support Directorate located in Fort Huachuca, AZ.

    Job Description

    • Monitors the security clearance in-processing of military and civilian personnel into the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).
    • Monitors pending cases and conducts telephonically or electronically (i.e., email etc.) checks with Defense Counter Intelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Adjudications on the status of investigations without granted eligibility.
    • Provides Personnel Security Training to Battalion (BN) Security Managers.
    • Provides briefings and written reports to the Command's Staff on the status of personnel security actions within the command, on an as requested basis.
    • Provides regular security updates on the status of investigations for commissioning cadets to Brigade and Battalion (BN) personnel.
