This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This Supply Systems Analyst, is located in the Associate Directorate of the Logistics and Technical Support, Logistics Data Division at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

    Job Description

    • Provides the command with quality supply chain management to include the development, implementation and maintenance of automated systems, operating procedures and guidance papers.
    • Participates in meetings and aids in the development of training programs and briefing packages.
    • Coordinates with other elements of the organization, higher headquarters and other government agencies and services in the execution of command policies and programs.
    • Assists in analyzing, developing, evaluating, and promoting improvements to supply chain planning, policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service which includes work that involved serving as the Supply Systems Analyst with responsibilities that includes: (1) solving problems using a variety of analytic techniques; (2) applying innovative technical solutions to make process improvements; and (3) participating in group meetings to recommend and present alternative supply approaches. A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or Three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or completion of all requirements for an LL.B or J.D. degree from an accredited college or university(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) Specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have less than two years of graduate-level education as described in B. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education by 36. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify) (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.). The experience as described in A AND the education described in B.
