We are looking for aspiring Project Managers to help solve some of Prudential’s biggest challenges by aligning our technical initiatives towards efficient and strategic business solutions. In this role, your creativity in developing solutions to complex problems will be an asset that every business unit can leverage; thus, providing you with the opportunity to define the career you want to lead.

    We are looking for highly organized students who are excited about the opportunity to support various business functions in executing goals by managing strategic projects and providing consultative support. You know how to take initiative and probe for further information when solving problems. You can make quick and effective decisions based on your analysis to produce workable solutions towards a range of problems.

    Our Project Management and Business Solutions interns are a part of the entire process, and they serve as a liaison between business partners and technologists. Your projects will support a variety of Finance and Technology initiatives impacting multiple business groups and functions. If you want to help solve some of Prudential’s biggest challenges by aligning our technical initiatives towards efficient and strategic business solutions, then this is the role for you!

    We offer highly competitive compensation and housing/transportation stipends if the job requires you to move geographically.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Some projects and responsibilities of past interns include:

    • Supporting projects impacting multiple business groups and functions with assignments which may include process improvements, system enhancements, regulatory compliance or strategic initiatives
    • Gathering, analyzing and documenting business and systems requirements to strengthen business optimization across the enterprise
    • Conducting analysis and developing presentations to support the initiatives you’re engaged on; conducting research, both internal and external to support the efforts
    • Leveraging best practices to support projects which may include process analyses, request for proposal (RFP), process redesign efforts, acquisitions and integrations, and regulatory oversight
    • Designing plans and forecasting models, generating reports and business requirements, creating design functional specifications for systems development and conducting tests to help define technical solutions

    Our interns have been placed in various areas across the enterprise, including: Employee Engagement, Relationship Management, Project Management, Vendor Governance, Business Solutions, Technology Adoption, Business Analytics, and Agile Coaching.

  • Qualifications
    • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2020 and May 2023
    • Preferred majors include Business Administration, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Communications, Management Information Systems or any other applicable area of study Minimum GPA of 3.0 required
    • Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies, including but not limited to traditional waterfall SDLC, Agile, Kanban and Kata
    • Strong PC skills (MS Office suite including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook)
