    JOB DESCRIPTION

    If you're excited about starting a career in product design and financial technology, you’ll find your place in our Innovation Development Analyst Program - Design Track.

    The CB Design analyst will partner with internal CB Design teams (UX design, UX research, Service Design, Visual Design, Content Design, Operations) to learn, grow, and contribute to our product design portfolio. Analysts will be mentored by CB Design’s design practitioners to create visual solutions, research the needs of the user, and implement Design Thinking within our projects. Design Analysts will communicate with a network of supportive colleagues to understand the firm, client needs, and the scope of CB Design’s book of work.

    We are looking for diverse design backgrounds and perspectives to help us create innovative solutions for our clients. Our Innovation Development Program - Design Track is a 2-year rotational program centered around supporting new UX talent by providing a welcoming and diverse environment to learn and grow in the financial technology space. Designers from non-traditional backgrounds are encouraged to apply. You will contribute to meaningful projects, develop your business acumen, and make fulfilling connections with our team members. The Innovation Development Analyst Program - Design Track is aimed at creating a pipeline of talent to fill associate-level roles upon completion of the program.

    WHAT WE PROVIDE

    During the program, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills in one or more of the below areas:

    • Product Design: UX Design, Visual Design, UX Research, Service Design, and Content Design

    • Finance and Business Principles: Line of business knowledge across Commercial Bank (e.g. Corporations and Institutions, Commercial Real Estate)

    • Stakeholder Communication: Presenting work, status reporting, and project management

    KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or program in UX design, interaction design, human computer interaction, visual design or similar with an expected graduation date of December 2021 through June 2022

    • An interest in financial technology

    • A digital portfolio or digital sample of past work demonstrating an ability to think from the perspective of the user

    • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision)

    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment

    • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

    • Relevant internship experience and leadership in school or community organizations
