    2023 AWM Private Bank – Solutions summer Analyst program

    Investment Solutions:

    During our Investment Solutions Internship, you'll work with specialists to help research, analyze, and develop global investment strategies and opportunities for our clients.

You’ll work with product specialists on an investment solutions team or with a team of client advisors, bankers, global investment specialists, wealth advisors, and lending specialists. Throughout this program, you'll learn about our business and our clients while building your own expertise.

    Advice Lab:

    The Advice Lab is an integral part of wealth management at JPMC and is dedicated to providing clients and prospects across the wealth spectrum with differentiated advice to help them navigate their financial lives. The Advice Lab’s core practices as it relates to this role include: Executive Compensation, Tax Advisory, Private Business Advisory, Family Office & Estate disposition modelling, and Family Governance Advisory, in conjunction with broader Wealth Advisory support.

    Role Overview

    We are looking for a dynamic individual, with a keen interest in financial markets and planning, and the enthusiasm to work in a team environment, to support and collaborate with our Advice Lab team, which is based in New York, as well as Private Bank advisors. The analyst will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their goals through addressing advisor and client questions on various planning topics, providing customized planning analytics, and helping to develop and research thought leadership on various planning topics.

    Philanthropy Center:

    The Philanthropy Summer Analyst will support the Senior Philanthropy Advisors and the Global Head to: (1) help clients successfully build and execute their philanthropic strategy; (2) execute business management projects, team tracking and reporting; (3) support the planning and hosting of distinguished events designed to provide clients and partners the opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded peers; (4) support the curation and updating of thought leadership pieces in an effort to educate clients and partners on philanthropic topics and trends; (5) support Senior Philanthropy Advisors engagement in select media opportunities to further position The Philanthropy Centre as a thought leader in the sector; (6) research and stay up to date on trends, experts, and thought leaders across the social impact landscape.

    What to expect

    Our nine-week program kicks off with a week of induction, where you'll have training and orientation to our businesses and gain the technical and practical knowledge you'll need to start contributing to our teams. Top performers may receive a full-time (for juniors) or returning summer internship (for sophomores) offer at the end of the summer.

    You'll also:

    • Work with our teams to understand client needs and examine market activities to develop and execute strategies that help clients meet their financial goals

    • Partner with client advisors, bankers, global investment specialists and estate experts to help recommend investment and wealth management solutions that protect, manage and grow our clients' portfolios

    • Collaborate with various teams, including but not limited to market strategy, equity, and alternative investment teams to conduct research and analysis, develop products and respond to client needs as part of a Solutions Team.

    • Continuously learn through one-on-one mentorship, learning sessions and ongoing events to grow your professional network
