2023 Sophomore Women in Banking Diversity Recruiting Program
Mizuho Americas Investment & Corporate Banking Division is pleased to launch its inaugural Sophomore Women in Banking event, a diversity recruiting program that empowers sophomore women to boldly step into a career in investment and corporate banking.
Mizuho Americas Investment & Corporate Banking Division’s Sophomore Women in Banking program is a structured in-person three-day professional development program that showcases the unique experience of working for a large global bank with a rapidly growing U.S. footprint. During the event, you’ll discover what it takes to work in investment and corporate banking, the types of roles that exist at Mizuho, and how you can be a part of its next generation of female leaders. Selected students will be considered for an accelerated interview process for our 2024 summer internship program.
PARTICIPANTS WILL GAIN:
Insight into Mizuho’s U.S. franchise and the newest trends on Wall Street
Understanding of the anatomy of a bank and how investment and corporate banking fits into the financial services landscape
Advice on navigating a career in financial services, having an impact from day one, and weaving passion and purpose into your day-to-day
Ability to hone your business acumen and networking know-how with professional skill-building sessions
Professional headshots for your social media profile
Early access to Mizuho’s senior leaders and junior professionals
Candid 1:1 conversations as part of our mentorship program
