ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Accelerated Development Program brings together top graduates in the field of Information Technology. This immersive program is a full-time opportunity designed to help you launch your professional career with Raymond James. You will work in a setting that promotes teamwork and inclusivity while you advance your skills in a specific fundamental discipline. An individualistic, tailored experience includes development workshops, hands-on projects, peer-to-peer and online education, mentorship, and skills-based training that provides the opportunity to acquire key professional competencies. This integrated approach of teaching will prepare you for roles within application development, business analysis, or information security, while also highlighting vital cornerstones on which the technology team successfully operates.

BUSINESS ANALYST

The Business Analysis program track runs for twelve months. This dynamic program focuses on developing technical and soft skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a project team on real business assignments, acquire domain-specific knowledge, and implement viable products or application enhancements that are influenced by the mind of the advisor. All these opportunities, combined with sophisticated technology tools, work to strengthen your experience in the Business Analysis function. Upon successful completion of the program, work will continue within an area of business analysis and support.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, MIS, Information Technology, or applicable degree demonstrating technical aptitude.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Active participation/leadership in a professional, community or academic organization.
• Relevant internships and/or work experience in applicable school or industry organizations.
• Strong record of academic achievement and interest in Information Technology.
• Basic knowledge of business operations and IT concepts.
• Ability to translate concepts to business and technical audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM COMPETENCIES
