2027 Evercore Investment Banking Summer Associate Opportunity

Evercore is seeking MBA candidates to join our Investment Banking Summer Associate Program in New York. This 10-week internship provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment banking within a collaborative, team-based environment.

Summer Associates will be placed into industry-focused pods, each comprised of related sectors, giving Associates the opportunity to build both broad exposure and deeper experience across industries and teams.

Pods include:

• Technology, Media & Communications (TMT)
• Healthcare & Consumer
• Financial Services (FIG Banks, FIG Wealth, Insurance, Alternative Asset Management)
• Industrials, Transportation, Energy Transition, Metals and Mining

This structure enables Associates to work across multiple industries while developing specialized expertise, building strong professional relationships across teams, and gaining unparalleled exposure to senior bankers. Evercore's unique market position provides opportunities to contribute to industry-transforming, multi-billion-dollar transactions around the world, while the small team environment offers a strong platform to learn investment banking and assume significant responsibility early in their careers.

Candidates must have a strong interest in investment banking with quantitative and analytical skills, as well the ability to think broadly about a range of strategic issues confronting the firm's clients. Responsibilities for a Summer Associate include overseeing financial and valuation analysis, resolving complex financial and accounting issues, industry and competitive analysis, due diligence, drafting client presentation materials, management and execution of live deal situations, and assistance with new business development.

Specific Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• Be a current First Year MBA student from a top business school
• Preferably three or more years of relevant work experience
• Strong grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas
• Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral
• Great work ethic
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character

Expected Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $185,000
