    Job Description

    The Bundled Acquiring team within the Visa Value Added Services group is looking for an individual to help propel the team forward by providing key insights into operational activities. This individual will monitor, iterate, and distribute reporting that will provide actionable recommendations for both process improvements and potential client identification.

    Role Summary

    • The Risk Management Analyst works with various data sources, tools, and methods to perform data extraction, transformation, cleaning, validation, visualization, and reporting.

    • The role will utilize existing risk reporting with a focus on improving risk mitigation and driving process improvements.

    • A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the department to understand and identify data needs, define metrics, and deliver actionable insights.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Maintain and distribute various front-line operational reports.

      • Maintain and distribute the following reports:

        • Current Day SLAs

        • Monthly FNBO Reporting

        • Risk Investigation Assignments

        • AML Compliance Audits quarterly reports

        • AML Annual Quantitative Portfolio Metrics

        • Partner Payouts and ISV Residual Reporting

    • Support ad hoc projects through data mining and collection.

    • Create data visualization with the ability to create a story with data.

    • Assist in defining continued acquiring / eCheck analytics.

    • Support marketing initiatives by identifying and assigning merchants to targeted verticals.

    • Mine merchants for attributes that make them attractive to certain products.

    • Deep dive into fraud trends to identify commonalities to be used in mitigation efforts.

    • Provide strategic recommendations for department operational process improvements.

    • Aggregate daily metrics into actionable insights.

    • Data Cleansing/Wrangling – parsing and aggregating incomplete and unstructured data sources to produce data sets to be used in further analysis.

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:
    2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) in business, data analytics, or related field.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)Possess an action-oriented, driven, and collaborative mindset.
    Excellent analytical ability and problem solving skills.
    Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
    Clear and concise communication skills with an ability to present data and facts to a wide range of stakeholders.
    Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage issues to resolution.
    Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
    Experience w/ risk management, payments or transactional fraud.
    Experience with Tableau a plus, but not required.
    SQL experience

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 78,400.00 to 110,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
