The successful candidate will be responsible for following all policies and procedures and servicing the members in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. This individual needs to be sales-oriented and results-oriented, and project a positive attitude with the team. Major Responsibilities: The Teller will assist with all credit union transactions in order to service the member including all financial transactions, building public relations, executing marketing programs, and utilizing cross-selling standards in order to become the members primary financial institution. Answers questions about products, services and maintains member account information on computer system. Position requirements: The successful candidate will possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and one to three years of similar or related experience. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves mush personal contact with other inside and outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Candidate must possess a broad knowledge of departmental operations, policies, and procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate with employees and members both in person and by phone. Must be able to operate a PC, calculator, and other office equipment with speed and accuracy. Physical qualifications include sitting for extended periods of time at a computer and being able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
