WHAT YOULL BE DOING: As a QA Automation Intern, you will be part of the Code42 Test Automation team for the summer of 2019 and helping to ensure the satisfaction of our users. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Writing automated API test cases for Code42s CrashPlan product Writing automated test cases for user facing functionality Maintaining and enhancing the test automation framework Reducing the manual test case backlog by automating user facing test cases Presenting your work at a Sprint Demo in front of Research, Development, and Operations organizations WHAT YOULL LEARN: Hands-on, practical test automation skills How a software company turns ideas into products, and an Automation Engineers role in that process Development tools including Java, .Net, Git, and Jenkins Team collaboration in a best practices Agile Scrum development organization SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Programming experience (Java experience preferred) Ability to work with others in a collaborative environment Independent thinking, restless curiosity, and comfort in collaboration Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree or higher with a minimum of 2 years of course work completed THINGS THAT WILL IMPROVE YOUR ODDS: Experience programming in Java Automation experience with Selenium Familiarity with API testing Knowledge of CrashPlan functionality
