CME Group is currently looking for an Accounting Advisory summer intern.

This candidate will assist the Accounting Advisory team on day-to-day activities in support of accounting research and writing technical accounting memos.

Principal Accountabilities:

For specific accounting inquiries, the candidate will assist with reading through legal contracts and other supporting documentation in order to gain an understanding of the accounting considerations relevant to the accounting inquiry.

The candidate will also assist with researching the applicable accounting guidance and literature in order to evaluate the accounting implications associated with the matter.

Further, the candidate will assist in the preparation of a technical accounting memo which documents the accounting considerations and conclusions reached.

In addition, the candidate will assist in the preparation of an accounting policy manual which will maintain an index of our accounting policies as well as the associated accounting literature.

Education:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
