CME Group is currently seeking a Accounting Intern Year round to join our Finance Information Systems team in Chicago. This role involves assisting with day-to-day activities and supporting various finance applications.
Principal Accountabilities:
Assist in managing Workday Accounting Modules and linked third-party systems
Coordinate Customer Service Requests with Workday, including user access requests, metadata updates, and basic troubleshooting.
Document existing workflows and identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and eliminate bottlenecks.
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system features and patches.
Skills & Software Requirements:
Strong understanding of Google Workspace products and Excel.
Desire and drive to learn new technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data discrepancies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for finance stakeholders.
