JOHNSON FINANCIAL GROUP IS HIRING AN ACCOUNTING INTERN FOR SUMMER 2023 IN RACINE, WI!
As an intern at Johnson Financial Group, you will have the opportunity to be heard, keep growing and make a difference. You will be part of our campus program to gain the skills and knowledge needed to take on roles similar to those described below.
Only students currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to their studies will be considered for internship opportunities.
YOU WILL GAIN EXPOSURE AND INSIGHT TO THE FOLLOWING:
Supports the production of financial, regulatory, and management reporting.
Executes work to support timely, accurate, and efficient monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
Analyses data and information to provide financial, regulatory and related risk insights and recommendations.
Supports the interpretation and definition of internal and external policies (US GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Ensures strong governance and effective controls across finance & accounting activities and information in accordance with corporate standards.
Provides attestation to the validity of financial results and highlights significant information including variances, trends, opportunities, and exposures for our lines of business.
Provides information and support the process for internal and external audits.
Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
Organizes work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Analyzes issues and determines next steps.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
As a full-time employee, we would require 1-3 years of experience, however as part of the internship program, we are looking for motivated individuals with a strong desire to learn.
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
Candidates pursuing a major in accounting to meet the 150-credit hour requirement preferred.
Junior status or above preferred.
GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
Strong verbal & written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organization skills.
Good collaboration & team skills.
Duration: 10 weeks; June 5, 2023 - August 11, 2023
Salary: $18.00/ hour
