(P) Internship Program Summary: Adaptive Insights Internship Program provides university-level students with an opportunity to experience working in a corporate environment, while utilizing subjects and skills learned in school and applying them to real-world applications. This is an exciting and enriching program, located at our headquarters office in Palo Alto, California in the heart of Silicon Valley. In addition to working in their assigned departments, interns will also participate in educational seminars focusing on career development, such as resume writing skills and how to run an effective meeting. Additionally, team outings and events will provide interns a chance to network and bond with their Adaptive teammates, management, executive staff, and other interns. (P) Role: Adaptive Insights is looking for talented and highly motivated results-oriented individual to join our expanding sales team. You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in remotely managing a large geography with many inbound leads. You will be comfortable with the start-up environment where personal performance is critical and will have the flexibility and determination to participate in any activity to ensure success. Adaptive Insights expects to offer aggressive rewards for high achievers. The candidate will be committed to providing our prospects with exceptional service and creatively and relentlessly driving new activity. In this role, you will own responsibility for business development in an assigned region where the prospect profile can vary dramatically. You will focus on lead generation programs and their execution including email and telephone activities. You will work with our prospects who are typically senior Finance and IT professionals. Comfort and experience with business planning, budgeting and analysis and articulating the associated value proposition is ideal. Excellent collaboration and proactive participation with our Marketing, Sales and Pre-Sales teams is critical to success. As well as contributing through achievement of your goals, you will bring enthusiasm, expertise and creativity to our company. (P) Specific responsibilities include: -Conduct and manage sales cycle process from initial contact through to initial qualification. -Commitment to continually building a pipeline of sales opportunities for your -Help Build out accounts, and support deeper territory analysis -com updates and overall record maintenance -Help with sales development metrics, stats, and conversation ratios -Outbound prospecting within a defined territory/target vertical market. -Tracking activity and sales progress daily in salesforce.com. (P) Qualifications: -Pursuing a Bachelors Degree -Enjoy the challenge of telephone sales -Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
