IGNITE IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A PART TIME TECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL V CONSULTANT FOR A LONG-TERM CONTRACT IN HOUSTON, TEXAS. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
This individual will serve as a part-time consultant for the International Space Station program performing professional work in design, development, test, integration and operations. This individual will provide expertise in the areas of either logistics or safety and mission assurance. For logistics, our team is responsible for depot maintenance and repair, materials, property and inventory management, obsolescence support, sustainability analysis and hardware logistics operations. For Safety and Mission Assurance, our team is responsible for safety, payload safety support, S&MA flight operations support, quality assurance and engineering, software quality and reliability and maintainability.
Required Skills
Familiarity of the space industry is a plus.
Required Experience
Education: BA/BS in Engineering, Math or Science discipline
Experience: Minimum of 20 years of professional experience.
