As THE digital banking solution for credit unions and small to medium sized banks, our ability to deliver in an agile, focused and timely fashion is a major driver for our success.  That agility has to extend to the core of our platform: the infrastructure and services running there. Alkami Technology is in the middle of migrating our entire platform to AWS from co-located hosted infrastructure and on-prem facilities.

Driving this incredible effort are our four Site Reliability Engineering teams: Infrastructure, Release, Operations and Performance. With executive stakeholders, competing priorities and compliance considerations these teams need a skilled and technically adept BA who can build and maintain an agile roadmap.

We are moving everything to the cloud—yes everything. So experience with AWS or one of the other major cloud players (Microsoft, Google) will be a huge advantage in this role. Additionally, there is a key financial component to this migration and environmental maintenance that will be  a day-to-day responsibility.

On the first day, you will be immersed in the work streams for all four teams; learning our product and infrastructure directly from the people who designed it! You will probably capture at least a few user stories before the end of the day. • Document strategic objectives, capture key milestones and lead inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding outcomes.
• Manage project roadmaps, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
• Build and maintain multi-million dollar budget forecasts across multiple strategic initiatives for the teams and track against financial KPIs (i.e. - cost per user).
• Curate a well-groomed and prioritized backlog for the teams, introducing cross-functional prioritization methods and aligning bi-weekly planning sessions with strategic goals.
• Drive best practices across Site Reliability Engineering teams for tool development and process improvement.
• Collaborate and coordinate projects on behalf of engineering across the larger organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of industry experience, working with technical subjects and emerging technologies in Cloud, or related technical fields
• Experience in an Agile environment and a cloud-focused organization
• Experience operating under budgetary controls, building forecasts and tracking spend
• Comfort using a mainstream BI tool (Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex software products
• Ability to produce technical outcomes from ideation in a compliant environment (PCI, SOC, etc)
• Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups
• Excellent strategic vision, problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of working in a data-driven environment
