Job Description

Alkami has an immediate need for a seasoned application support engineer that has customer facing cloud/SaaS experience. This position will be responsible for researching and resolving application issues reported by customers and partners. Qualified candidates must have exceptional communication skills and will serve as the primary point of contact between Alkami and the customer during support incidents.

Responsibilities

• Review and update site configuration primarily in MS SQL databases.
• Efficiently triage and resolve customer issues.
• Communicate accurately, clearly, and effectively in writing, in person, and on the phone.
• Demonstrate good judgment by escalating issues to the manager when appropriate.
• Proactively make suggestions to management to help reduce or eliminate recurring issues.
• Work well with other member of the Application Support team.
• Follow processes to handoff issues to other teams and follow up to ensure the issue is being resolved in a timely manner.
• Remain calm in trying situations.
• Be available 24/7/365 to assist resolving SEV 1 issues.
• Be on a rotation to take after hour calls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on a support team
• History working with or supporting Microsoft C# applications, SQL Server, IIS, and n­tiered solutions
• Good understanding of WCF
• Knowledge of Jira
• Familiarity with Google docs
• Exceptional communication and customer facing skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage customers and their expectations
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated expertise in technical application support tasks
• Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and environments
• A high degree of self­-confidence and self-­motivation
• Preferred but not required:
  • Familiarity with various online banking applications and understanding of third party integrations
