Description of Position
Alkami Technology is a leading next-generation online banking solution that both builds software for deployment for financial institutions to host as well as for a hosted ASP solution Alkami manages for customers with wish to leverage a shared hosting environment. Alkami is seeking an experienced IT professional to serve in the capacity of a systems administrator for maintaining internal development environments, the servers within the corporate Active Directory domain environment, and provide desktop support to developers and other internal Alkami staff. Secondly, this System Administrator will be the primary support contact for the hosted solution Alkami offers for online banking and will monitor and implement recommendations to provide a highly-available, disaster-recovery-enabled, and completely secure and compliant hosted infrastructure environment in accordance with its client-contracted obligations. Third, this System Administrator will be responsible for executing established policies around endpoint security, access control, change control, backups, and documentation to meet internal quality standards, established policies, and auditable requirements. Problem solving skills, systematic approaches to diagnosing issues, excellent prioritization skills, and a calm and respectful attitude while working in, at-times, high-pressure/high-demand projects and environments, with demonstrated competency is required for succeeding in this position.

Requirements
2. 5+ years of administering virtualized environments using products such as VMware vCenter Server and ESX 5.0 or higher, including the management of OVA/OVF deployable containers.
3. 5+ years providing internal desktop support to PC/Windows 7 and Mac/OSX clients in corporate domain environments, including diagnosing hardware, software, and network problems, assisting end users with connectivity and system usage, and troubleshooting, configuring, and replacing defective components.
4. Demonstrated familiarity with creating physical and logical diagrams with Microsoft Visio of infrastructures
5. Demonstrated familiarity creating and managing X.509 certificate-based infrastructures
6. Experience administering corporate anti-virus, backup, network monitoring, and enterprise whole-disk encryption tools
7. Must be able to support a fast-growing and dynamic company which can include irregular work shifts and occasional late-night maintenance windows to support the demands of mission-critical systems.
8. Must be able to successfully pass required criminal background checks and drug testing
9. Must provide technical references as well as managerial references with a submitted resume.
Desired Skills
1. Candidates with active certifications in the MSITP Enterprise Administrator, MSITP Server Administrator, and VMware Certified Professional are strongly preferred
2. 5+ years of administering complex environments with Cisco networking equipment. Familiarity with complex environments with multiple VPN tunnels, MPLS endpoints, and familiarity with cipher technologies, multiple internal VLAN’s and tagged traffic, spanning tree, layer 3 routing protocols, NAT, PoE, and 802.1x are strongly preferred desired.
3. Experience working with VMware vCenter Server and ESX 5.0 and higher hosts, including migrating hosts between sites, templating, and scripting to be able to quickly deploy internal images as well as vApp images for shipping to customers
4. A bachelor’s degree in management information systems OR a certificate for systems or network administration from a two-year technical training program, OR two additional years of full-time experience to compensate are preferred
5. Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server 2008 server instances from a sys-admin role is preferred, including managing logins, users, and object-level permissions, making and restoring from backups
6. Experience administering shared attached storage / storage area networks (SANs), including formulating enterprise capacity management plans at the LUN level.
7. Experience taking internal and external customer requirements and combining experience and knowledge with industry and vendor research to create well-documented and detailed proposals for solving challenges with information technologies.
